ANBOUND's Observation: Possible U.S. Military Plan in Taiwan Strait as Reported in Foreign Media
Chan Kung
In
an article by Forbes aerospace and defense David Axe, it is stated that if a
war in the Taiwan Strait breaks out in the future, the goal of the U.S.
military plan is to occupy the many island outposts within the range of Chinese
missiles. In order to send troops to the small island, the U.S. military is
developing a new type of small amphibious warship. This light amphibious
warship will dive into the target sea area and integrate into the maritime
transportation network of civilian ships.
Based on comprehensive analysis, although such
information comes from well-known media, it is not credible and at most it is
only one of the preconceptions of war plan. Moreover, large-scale
land wars, whether in terms of military comparisons, technical equipment, war
objectives, or political impact, have become obsolete geopolitical
intervention pattern. Future geopolitical interventions, mainly through air,
sea, and space forces, are unlikely to follow this antiquated model as reported
in the media.
