ANBOUND arrived at Penn Global for building a research relationship with the prestigious University
ANBOUND

Yi Wang, Head of Global Development Program for ANBOUND, on 30 January visited the University of Pennsylvania for building a global relationship and research cooperation with ANBOUND.

Along with Dr. Richard Voith (President of Econsult Solutions, ESI), Ms. Yi Wang had a meeting with the UPenn administration, including Dr. Amy Gadsden (Associate Vice Provost for Global Initiatives), Dr. Scott Moore (China Program Director, Penn Global) and Zoe Qiao (Senior Associate Director, Penn-Wharton China Center). They all did some discussions on co-research opportunities, China's ongoing issues, and the future goes to together establish a research center in the University. ANBOUND's initiative with the UPenn would contribute to expanding academia exchanges, the US-China policy dialogues and open environment for business activities and commerce.

Additionally, Ms. Wang and Dr. Voith met with Prof. Eugenie Birch and Prof. Susan Wachter who are Chairs of the Penn Institute for Urban Research (IUR), Dr. Zhongjie Lin from City & Regional Planning, as well as Dr. James McGann who researches the think tanks and chairs Civil Society Program. Ms. Wang also attended a joint event on Penn IUR-ESI smart city research study Building a Hyperconnected City and a policy event on Penn China Research Symposium 2020 at Perry World House.
