What's new: There will no longer be a premier's press conference at the conclusion of this year's annual political gatherings, China's top legislature said Monday.
On the condition of "no special circumstances," the premier's press meeting will also be skipped for the remainder of the current 14th National People's Congress (NPC), which ends in 2028, NPC spokesperson Lou Qinjian said during a media briefing before the legislative session opens Tuesday.
