There are some similarities and differences between China and India. In terms of similarities, both countries have huge populations and require urbanization. Meanwhile, the main difference is the political system. The democratic process in India is faster than China, however India government has limited control over its resources. In contrast, Chinese governments are free to do whatever they want with the resources. Therefore, the contrary of China and India is very interesting, both countries are just like a mirror and ones can easily spot each other's flaws by looking into the mirror.
