The 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China will be held on 8th November. Apart from leadership transition, the congress may set the precedent for China's strategy and decisions in the country’s future economic development. Looking at the current situation, reform is the top priority. The public’s common concerns are: What are the major problems and challenges pertaining to China's economic and political reform? Is China going to implement high level of structural reform? What is the impact of reforms to the market? We shall track the related issues on a long-term basis and carry out some preliminary analyses and discussions.
