Policy Transition in the Era of Post Land Economy
ANBOUND

Considering China's struggle over the new round of urbanization, Anbound suggested that it’s better for the central government to take drastic measures, and decisively abort the one-time collection of land transferring fees, but replace by land tax and property tax year after year. While in terms of policy manipulation, generally there are two measures: first is to divide the policies according to the age of the building; second is to establish pilot projects and enlarge the pilot scope annually. The macro significance of Anbound’s proposal is to illustrate the investment value of real estate sector, help the government to achieve sustainable local finance, and improve the economic development model swift toward the post land economy.
