"New Silk Road" at a Global Civilization Perspective
ANBOUND

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton formally proposed "New Silk Road" in Chennai, India back in July 2011. It is aimed to take advantage of Afghanistan's strategic location by turning it into a regional transportation and trading hub. Afghanistan can achieve sustainable economic development by promoting regional trade and economic integration between South and Central Asia. We should discuss the “New Silk Road” plan at a higher level to identify its future impact to the world and try to set boundary and direction for the future discussion and research in all areas.
