Chinese Vice President Wang Qishan on Tuesday met with US representative in Zhongnanhai at the tenth round of the Sino-US dialogues between commercial world leaders and former senior officials, Chinese state TV reported.

Wang Qishan said that economic relations of equality and mutual benefit constitute a "solid foundation" for relations between China and the United States, whose essence is cooperation and win-win. Good economic-commercial relations correspond to the fundamental interests of the two peoples. The two sides must deepen cooperation and strengthen trust, resolving differences through dialogue and consultations. China will continue to deepen reforms, further open up its economy and improve the investment environment. It is hoped that the business leaders and think tanks from China and the United States will reach to consensus and jointly promote the development of China-US economic and trade relations stable and healthy.
