He Jun: Anti-Corruption Is An Effective Macroeconomics Regulation and Control

The central government's anti-corruption campaign has unexpected effect towards the macroeconomic regulation and control. ANBOUND’s senior researcher He Jun emphasized that anti-corruption is not meant to regulate the economy. However, under China’s unique circumstances and continuous anti-corruption campaign, it managed to restrain investment, consumption of public funds and restrain the development of real estate. Of course, anti-corruption also enhances public’s expectation towards government reform.
