The Risks of Relying Central Enterprises on Urbanization

The Nanjing Xia Guan Bin Jiang land, the once Crown Land, was split and sold at a lowered price, leaving a tragic scene of waste land and industrial bankruptcy. It became an extremely classical example of urban construction failure. ANBOUND think tank scholars believe that, the approach of relying central enterprises for urban transformation and construction does not seem to work. How to seek a balance interest point amongst the local economy, developers and local governments, and how to respect the rule of development and gradual integration between industry and city, have become urgent regulation targets in urban construction in the midst of surging new urbanization.
