China's anti-corruption campaign has been on-going for 17 months and imposed significant deterrent effect. ANBOUND research team emphasizes that the core meaning of anti-corruption is evolving and will influence China’s future social and economic development. ANBOUND’s senior researcher He Jun points out that the government needs to have clear direction of anti-corruption. Chinese government has to deal with the relationships among reform, opening up and construction in order to combat corruption. Besides that, China also has to "create" new and effective measures while “abolish” the old and invalid rules.
