A new round of urban development will be gradually unfolding in-line with the release of National New Urbanization Plan. ANBOUND research team thinks that the most obvious flaw of this new urbanization plan is lack of emphasis on rural development. The priority of new urbanization policy is urban clusters but it should also pay attention to the rural areas. The foundation of China's urbanization is not solid unless there is comprehensive rural development.
