The current downward pressure on China's economy has call for the need to build large-scale construction project to sustain steady growth. ANBOUND think tank scholar highlighted that although large scale projects such as nuclear power plant is an effective tool to stimulate economic growth however it also possesses huge security risk thus it should be carefully evaluated. The construction of nuclear or hydro power plant cannot solve the issue of energy shortage in China, let along the economic development. The decision makers should learn from the past lessons and evaluate the projects carefully instead of rushing to introduce the plan.
