ANBOUND

China's key to success in this century is to value the importance of multilateral cooperation under WTO system. However, China is now hesitating whether to join WTO’s Government Procurement Agreement. ANBOUND research team anticipated that China will have to pay a higher price if China joins the "Government Procurement Agreement" after the U.S. China is highly supported by local manufacturing sector thus the Chinese companies will still enjoy domestic and international advantages if China joins the “Government Procurement Agreement”. As long as the rights are equal, “Made in China” should not worry about competition from the western countries. The later China joins Government Procurement Agreement, the bigger disadvantage it will be.
