On May 9, NK Daily quoted Beijing's diplomatic sources and stated that upon Bank of China closed its account in Foreign Trade Bank of DPRK, China Construction Bank also stopped its business with Korea Kwangson Bank and Golden Triangle Bank. Previously, Anbound's fellow noted that it is unusual for Bank of China to close its DPRK bank account, this indicates that China would like to put more pressure on DPRK in the meantime of increasing its cooperation with US. If the four state-owned banks are proven to have closed their DPRK bank accounts then it confirmed Anbound’s previous forecast.
