America is actively promoting its bilateral investment treaties with other countries and regions via the framework of TPP and TTIP. ANBOUND research team thinks that American bilateral investment treaties might have neglected the demand of emerging economies. Different stages of economic development, different laws, cultures and traditions as well as different industrial development plans might be conflict with America's demand. These problems occurred during America’s negotiation on TPP as well as the TTIP negotiation with EU, not to mention the U.S.-China Bilateral Investment Treaty which is often being looked in a negative way.
