ANBOUND: Macroeconomic Policy Needs Clear Strategic Direction
ANBOUND

China's Politburo held a meeting on April 25 to study the current economic situation and effort. The bureau also expressed the increasing concern towards the economic slowdown. ANBOUND think tank scholar stated that the government should have both long-term and short-term strategies in order to maintain stable economic development in the future. The long-term strategies include market-oriented reform and develop the western region of China; meanwhile the short-term strategy is to develop clear strategy and policy direction. China’s economy will be quite promising if the government takes all the above three measures.
