On the afternoon 17 October, Dr. Jeroen Lamers, the Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of Netherlands to China and Economic Officer Lu Ou, visited our office, and discussed with He Jun, Research Partner of ANBOUND. It was the third visit that the Dutch government came to ANBOUND since August this year.

The two sides focused on public policy issues on the reform of state-owned enterprises (SOEs). They exchanged views on specific issues related to how the Chinese SOEs play their influence on the decision-making made by the central government, and the relationship between the management leadership of SOEs and the top-level officials of the central government.

In the field of finance and business, foreign governments and organizations are increasingly paying attention to the insights from ANBOUND, an independent, non-governmental strategic think tank in China.
