The worsening of Ukraine crisis has forced Europe to think about alternative resource other than Russian oil and gas. ANBOUND research team believes that Ukraine crisis is a turning point of global structure adjustment including energy structure adjustment. Therefore, Russia's economy will suffer a great blow while America’s influence will decline at the same time. On the other hand, China will gain from the comprehensive deepening of reform through this favorable time window. The European energy alliance might intensify global energy self-sufficiency followed by the U.S. effort in achieving energy self-sufficiency. Thus, it is obviously unfavorable for China. Now it becomes an important issue for China to improve global energy layout in order to strengthen energy cooperation with the Europe.
